After Allu Arjun’s stampede case, Salman Khan saying “Kisi bacche ki jaan chali jaaye…” about his diehard fans in an old interview resurfaces

Bollywood legend Salman Khan once shared why he doesn’t believe in promoting his movies extensively.

Salman Khan is undeniably one of Bollywood’s biggest and most secure legends.
With an unmatched fan following, especially in North India, the Sikandar actor has a unique standing in the motion picture industry.
Unlike many of his contemporaries, he doesn’t need to engage in extensive promotional activities to ensure box-office success.
His star power alone guarantees that his films achieve a bare minimum of Rs. 100 crore at the Indian box office.
While actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Allu Arjun, and Akshay Kumar often undertake city tours to promote their films, Salman consciously avoids such measures, citing concerns over fan safety as a priority.
Needless to say, his approach speaks volumes about his confidence as a mega movie star and his sense of responsibility towards his devoted followers.Indeed, the ‘Sultan of Bollywood’ has openly shared why he dislikes promoting his films at grand events.

He believes that fan safety is far more important than any marketing gimmick, and this commitment towards his fans sets him apart from everyone else in the film industry.

Salman Khan doesn’t like to promote his films extensively

In 2014, when Salman Khan was busy promoting his blockbuster film Kick, he revealed why he avoids promoting his movies at big events or in other cities apart from Mumbai.

The superstar said that he’s witnessed people not being able to shop or do anything else because a massive crowd ends up gathering to catch a glimpse of him.

He also fears for the kids and aged people who might be present at those venues where people throng to see him in large numbers.

Sharing his thoughts on the same, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star shared, “Mat karo kyunki humare toh city visit hai, promotion hai.

Khamakha kisi bacche ki jaan chali jaaye, it’s not worth it at all.

(Don’t do it because it’s our city visit and promotion, but amid the chaos, a child might lose his life, and it’s not worth it).”

Salman’s fan frenzy and its challenges

A glimpse of Salman Khan’s ‘Da-Bangg Reloaded’ show in Riyadh, where more than 80K fans gathered to see him.

Indeed, Khan’s fan following is so huge that one has often caught his admirers chasing his vehicles from the airport to the venue where he’s supposed to head to promote his films.

As a matter of fact, the undisputed Dabangg hero has himself seen thousands of fans driving over the speed limit to ensure they get to see him up close.

The fan frenzy around Salman Khan is not in the least bit surprising, as his fans are not just his audience but pretty much an extended family.

And, that is precisely why the megastar strives to ensure that his interactions with them remain safe and memorable at all times.
