In an old interview with Daily Mail, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opened up about her first on-screen kissing scene with Hrithik Roshan in the film, Dhoom 2. Spilling beans on the same, Aishwarya made a shocking revelation and said that she received legal notices for her kissing scene, as her fans weren’t happy about it. She said:

“I did it once prominently in the movie Dhoom and it was so topical, and you’ll be surprised, I mean I actually got a couple of notices, legal notices, from some people in the country turning around and saying ‘You are iconic, you’re an example to our girls you have led your life in such an exemplary manner, they’re not comfortable with you doing this on screen so why did you?”

Further, Aishwarya Rai revealed that she had never done kissing scenes in films and even declined a few scripts as she was not comfortable with the physical scenes and the kissing. However, she still gave it a shot in Dhoom 2, despite being sure that her audience wouldn’t like it. When the movie was released, Aish was criticised for her on-screen kissing.
