The Bollywood star is expected to return to the silver screen soon, featuring in “Jewel Thief,” “Kartavya,” and “Race 4” while recovering from a recent attack.

Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan is currently recuperating at a Mumbai hospital after suffering injuries in a knife attack at his residence in Bandra.
The shocking incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, where the 54-year-old actor sustained multiple stab wounds, including injuries to his neck and near the spine.
He was promptly rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery to address his injuries.
Despite the trauma from this brutal attack, Khan remains optimistic about his future projects.
He recently completed filming for his upcoming film “Jewel Thief – The Red Sun Chapter,” a heist drama directed by Robbie Grewal.
This film, which features a strong cast including Jaideep Ahlawat, is set to release in March 2025.
The project marks a significant collaboration as it reunites Khan with filmmaker Siddharth Anand, known for hits like “Pathaan,” after a gap of 17 years.
Together, they previously worked on successful projects such as “Salaam Namaste” and “Ta Ra Rum Pum.”

Saif Ali Khan’s movies in the pipeline

In addition to “Jewel Thief,” Khan is also set to appear in “Kartavya,” a drama from filmmaker Pulkit, known for his previous work on “Bhakshak.” Pulkit confirmed that the film is ready for release, though the specific date is yet to be announced.

Furthermore, Khan will return to the “Race” franchise in “Race 4,” as announced by veteran producer Ramesh Taurani.

This film is expected to start production in September, and Taurani expressed excitement about having Khan back in a leading role.

The “Race” franchise, which began with the 2008 film “Race,” has been known for its high-octane action and intricate plots.

Khan’s performances in the first two films, alongside Akshaye Khanna, were well-received, contributing to the series’ commercial success.

However, “Race 3,” which featured a different cast led by Salman Khan, did not fare as well at the box office.

In addition to these confirmed projects, Khan has been in discussions for various other films with prominent filmmakers, including Priyadarshan and “Animal” director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for a project titled “Spirit,” which stars Prabhas.
