A shocking new incident has been reported where an intruder entered Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Bandra house and attacked Saif with a knife.

A shocking crime has come to light as it was reported that earlier today, Bollywood superstar Saif Ali Khan was attacked during a robbery at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. An intruder allegedly broke into the Bandra home he shares with his wife, Kareena Kapoor, and their children and allegedly stabbed Khan multiple times. The incident occurred around 2:30 AM while the family was asleep. Khan is believed to have suffered multiple injuries as he was stabbed six times, two of which are deep, and one is close to his spine. He was taken to Lilavati Hospital shortly afterwards, and a medical team of specialists operated on him.

Kareena Kapoor and their children, Taimur and Jeh who were also home during the time of the attack were reportedly unharmed in the mishap. Mumbai Police had initiated an investigation into the incident by collecting footage from CCTV cameras to catch hold of the attacker. Reportedly, the assailant fled the scene after Kareena and other members in the family woke up during the commotion.

As he gets treated at Lilavati Hospital, the COO of the hospital also clarified that there was another injury on Saif’s neck which needed to be evaluated and treated. It has been reported that the surgery began at 5.30 am and until very recently, was still being performed. His family is by his side as he gets treated for his injuries.

The Mumbai crime branch has already begun an investigation and a senior IPS officer released a statement saying, “Saif Ali Khan has been admitted to the Lilavati hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. It is not clear yet, if he is stabbed or injured in the scuffle with the robber. We have been investigating the matter. The Mumbai crime branch is also conducting a parallel investigation into the incident.”

The COO of Lilavati Hospital, Dr Niraj Uttamani released a statement where he said, “Saif was attacked by an unidentified person in his house. He was brought in at 3:30 am in Lilavati. He has six injuries, two of which are deeper. One of the injuries is closer to his spine. We are operating on him. He is being operated upon by Neurosurgeon Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Leena Jain, and anaesthetist Nisha Gandhi. We will be tell the extent of the damage only after the surgery is done.” All of our thoughts and prayers are with Saif and his family.
