Among them was a man dressed in a white kurta-pajama, completely drenched in blood. It was shocking. His white attire had turned red from all the bleeding,” Bhajan described.

The blood-soaked figure was none other than Saif Ali Khan, although Bhajan had no idea who he was at that moment. “I didn’t recognize him immediately. All I could see was that he was in serious trouble. The sight of so much blood made me nervous. But I knew I had to act fast,” Bhajan said.

Bhajan swiftly directed Saif into the auto, along with a young child and a male companion who seemed to be assisting him. They debated briefly whether to go to Holy Family Hospital or Lilavati Hospital. “Saif himself told me, ‘Take me to Lilavati.’ His voice was calm, but you could tell he was in pain. I sped towards the hospital as fast as I could,” Bhajan recounted.
