On Friday, Kareen Kapoor recorded her statement to the Mumbai Police regarding the attack on her husband Saif Ali Khan, who was stabbed six times by an intruder on Thursday Morning at their Bandra apartment in Mumbai. The actress revealed that the attacker was very ‘aggressive’ and stabbed Saif multiple times during the incident.

According to India Today, Kareena shared, “I was scared. Karisma (Kapoor) took me to her house. The attacker didn’t steal anything. Saif intervened to protect younger son, Jehangir (Ali Khan), and the attacker was unable to reach him.” She added, “Saif tried to save children and women.”

After Saif’s attack, the actress issued statement and requested privacy during such challenging time for her family. Sharing it on her social media, Kareena’s statement read, “It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage.”

She added, “While we appreciate the concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety. I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family. I would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation during this sensitive time.”

Following the incident, Saif Ali Khan was quickly rushed to Lilavati Hospital by his son Ibrahim Ali Khan, where he underwent surgery. While the actor is ‘out of danger’, doctors are continuing to monitor him. So far, no arrests have been made in the case.
