On their official Instagram pages, actress Deepika Padukone and husband Ranveer Singh have shared videos showing their affection. The videos have attracted millions of views and likes.

Ranveer Singh also captioned a post: “My wife is the one who understands me best!”.

According to  the South China Morning Post ,  whether at work or in real life, the couple is inseparable. This site commented: “Despite being together for nearly a decade, DeepVeer (the couple’s initials) still acts like teenagers in love. They hold hands, kiss, cuddle and express their sweetness towards each other.”

Love at first sight

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh first met in 2012 at the Zee Cine Awards in Macau. At first sight, actor  Simmba  was “captivated” by Deepika. He called it love at first sight.

Sharing on  SCMP , Ranveer said: “The first time I saw Deepika in real life, I could hardly stand. Deepika was wearing a gorgeous silver dress. How can I forget that image?”

After meeting each other, the actor did not miss the opportunity. He took the initiative to flirt with Deepika at the event of Yash Raj Films. Deepika described Ranveer as “fiercely flirting with her as if there was no one else around”.

The two were moved but did not say the words of love. When it came to filming the song  Ang Laga De ( Ram Leela  soundtrack  ), Ranveer and Deepika secretly expressed their feelings for each other. Terence Lewis – the choreographer of the song – confirmed: “They are clearly dating. The way Ranveer was intimate with Deepika on the set showed that they were definitely a couple.”

According to  Her Zindagi,  Ranveer and Deepika were seen hanging out separately during the filming of  Ram Leela.  The film’s huge success made them even more famous, and they became one of the most beautiful couples on the Indian screen.

However, even as paparazzi caught Ranveer visiting his girlfriend in Dubai, Deepika appeared in Spain to take care of her boyfriend who was filming  Dil Dhadakne Do , the two still refused to admit to their relationship.

Shortly after, Ranveer surprised the public by getting down on one knee and proposing to Deepika at the IIFA awards. The beautiful star could not hide her happiness when her boyfriend kissed her and put a diamond ring on her finger.

Secret wedding with 30 guests

The couple held their wedding ceremony on November 14-15, 2018, at Lake Como, Italy. The event was closed to the press, and the 30 guests were asked not to use their phones to take photos, but the images were still leaked.

Their wedding color palette included red and yellow – traditional Indian colors. The party space was decorated with 8,000 roses. The couple also hired 10 yachts to transport guests.

“The staff were taught Hindi to communicate with guests. Ranveer Singh and his wife booked more than 75 hotel rooms in this area, the lowest cost was about  634 USD /room/night for their friends to rest,”  The Times of India  revealed.

According to  India Today , inside the heavily guarded building, Ranveer – Deepika conducted wedding rituals according to Indian traditions (Konkani rituals from West India and Sindhi rituals representing South India).

Insiders said that the groom Ranveer was very emotional. He recalled memories with his wife through performances combined with familiar dances from the films he participated in. Deepika enthusiastically responded with her husband.

On Instagram, long after the wedding ended, the Bollywood star posted two photos of the bride and groom wearing traditional Indian clothes and smiling brightly together.

In an interview with  Mumbai Mirror , the xXx: Return of Xander Cage actress   said her husband is a rare kind person, helping her believe in the existence of love.

“I never worry that my husband will be upset or annoyed if I come home late after a long day. When you don’t have to worry about things like that, you can focus on your work. Ranveer has given me a feeling unlike any other man before,” the star shared.
